Sevierville And Gatlinburg Chambers of Commerce Host U.S. Senator Corker

The Sevierville Chamber of Commerce and Gatlinburg Chamber of Commerce Foundation continued their Two Chambers One Voice initiative this week by hosting United States Senator Bob Corker during a joint legislative event held at the Sevierville Visitor Center on August 20, 2014. Members of the business community were invited to attend the meeting and hear a first-hand update on federal and international issues from the senator.

Sevierville Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive Officer Brenda McCroskey says, “The leadership of both the Sevierville and Gatlinburg Chambers of Commerce strongly believes it is important to provide area businesses and community members opportunities to hear directly from their elected officials so they may voice questions and concerns.”

Vicki Simms, Executive Director of the Gatlinburg Chamber of Commerce adds, “The Gatlinburg Chamber of Commerce is always excited to partner with the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce for events like these. We are appreciative of the time that Senator Corker spent with our membership and for what he does for our community at a national level.”
