U.S. Senate Candidate Gordon Ball to Visit Pigeon Forge

Local Democrats are welcoming Democratic U.S. Senate nominee Gordon Ball to their monthly social at Calhouns in Pigeon Forge.

Gordon Ball, who is running against Sen. Lamar Alexander in the November 4, 2014 General Election, will join the Sevier County Democrats’ Blue Monday event on September 15 from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.

The Sevier County Democrats meet socially the third Monday evening of each month at a local restaurant, currently Calhouns at 2532 Parkway in Pigeon Forge.

“We are honored to have Gordon Ball joining us for Blue Monday,” said Mike Fitzgibbons, chairman of the Sevier County Democrats. “We invite everyone to come out to meet and speak with him.

Ball narrowly defeated fellow Knoxville attorney Terry Adams in the Democratic Primary Election in August. Adams has now endorsed Ball.

Earlier in the day Ball will be returning to Cocke County, where he was raised, to kick off his statewide tour with an ice cream social at Rafting in the Smokies, 3595 Hartford Rd. in Hartford TN. He will be there from 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
