US-411 10-Mile Yard Sale in Sevierville

10-Mile Yard Sale in Sevierville

The fall 10-Mile Yard Sale in Sevierville is set for Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

The 10-Mile Yard Sale happens twice a year, in the spring and fall and draws thousands of bargain hunters. The sale usually starts near the Sevier Rescue Squad building in Sevierville and heads eastward on US-411 (Dolly Parton Parkway) for about ten miles towards Newport, TN. Large groups of vendors can be found set up at Sevier County High School, Walgreens (corner of US-411 and SR-416), Foothills Furniture and Groceries & More. Signs directing shoppers down side streets to sales in the residential neighborhoods are common.

Traffic congestion can be bad along the mostly two-lane US-411 during the 10-Mile Yard Sale, so please exercise caution. Shoppers often park along the shoulder and dart across the highway to get to sales on both sides.

If you must travel US-411 the day of the yard sale, please allow plenty of time to reach your destination or seek an alternate route such as Old Newport Highway to detour around the event.
