Pigeon Forge Police Seek Riverstone Resort Robbery Suspect

Pigeon Forge Police are investigating a robbery at the Riverstone Resort in Pigeon Forge.

On Tuesday Oct. 14, 2014 at approximately 3:00 a.m., the Pigeon Forge Police Department received a call from the Riverstone Resort reporting a robbery. An officer responded and found the desk clerk behind the front desk with her hands bound together with duct tape.

The desk clerk stated that while cleaning the front desk a man approached her from behind and threatened her with a knife, demanding money. The suspect bound the desk clerk’s hands together and took an undetermined amount of money from the cash box.

The suspect was described as 5’4” tall, 150 pounds, with a dark complexion, and possibly of Hispanic origin given his accent. He was also wearing white, gray and blue checkered shorts, and white tennis shoes.
