Ole Smoky Distillery is celebrating the opening of The Barn at The Island in Pigeon Forge, with a free event featuring a special performance by the hit vocal duo Thompson Square.
Ole Smoky Moonshine in collaboration with The Island of Pigeon Forge and country music radio station Q100.3 will host the official Grand Opening of The Barn at The Island in Pigeon Forge on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014. “The Barn” is a brand new 7,218 sq. ft. distillery, retail space and outdoor stage located adjacent to The Island’s Show Fountain, which features dancing water in sync to music.
Country music’s Keifer & Shawna Thompson of Thompson Square will kick off the event with a free concert at 4:00 p.m. There will also be surprises and free Moonshine tasting. People attending this event will be the first to sample Shine Nog, Ole Smoky’s holiday flavor hitting retail shelves nationwide that day.
The Barn at The Island in Pigeon Forge is Ole Smoky Distillery’s second facility. The Holler™ in Gatlinburg opened in 2010 and has become the most visited distillery in America.
