Spring is Here! Register for the Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage

After a cold and snowy winter here in Sevier County, the first daffodils coloring the landscape are a welcome sight and the best way to celebrate the arrival of spring is to take part in the Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage.

The 64th Annual Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage will be held April 21-25, 2015 in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Gatlinburg, Tenn. The event features 146 programs, including wildflower, fauna, and natural history walks; motorcades; photographic tours; art classes; and indoor seminars. Most programs will take place on the trails in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Indoor programs will be held at either Sugarlands Training Room or Mills Conference Center in Gatlinburg.

Hurry to register, as space is limited and some Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage programs are already filling up.

Cost to participate in the Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage is $50 for adults for one day, $75 for two or more days. Students pay just $15 for one or more days (high school/college status will be verified at on-site registration with ID). Children under 12 participate for free, but must be accompanied by a registered adult and must be registered for programs they are attending.

Registration fees cover participation in all the events, except for the Welcoming Luncheon on Wednesday (program #16). Online registration for the luncheon is required and ticket cost is $25. Registration to the Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage is not required to attend the luncheon.
