Sevier County Democratic Party to Elect New Leaders at Reorganization Convention

The Sevier County Democratic Party will hold a Biennial Reorganization Convention where local Democrats will elect new leaders.

The Biennial Reorganization Convention of the Sevier County Democrats will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the King Family Library in Sevierville. Doors will open at 12:15 p.m. and the convention will begin promptly at 1 p.m.

All Democrat residents who are eligible voters of Sevier County are urged to attend.

Local Democrats will elect a new Chairperson, Vice Chairperson(s), Secretary, Treasurer and the Executive Committee for Sevier County for a two-year term. They will also discuss the Party’s agenda and events for 2015. This will be an open forum for all attendees to express their ideas and thoughts about the future.

The Party will provide a selection of foods, coffee and soft drinks.

“I encourage all Democrats to come out and get involved. We have opportunities available for Democrats to represent and help their community,” said Mike Fitzgibbons, chairperson of the Sevier County Democrats.

The King Family Library is located at 408 High Street, Sevierville, TN 38762.
