The Sevier County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who robbed an employee as she arrived to open the Cash Express in Seymour on Tuesday.

The suspect, described as a white male of average build with a red hoodie pulled over his head, accosted an employee in the parking lot as she was taking the cash inside to open the business. The perpetrator brandished a handgun and demanded that the employee hand over the bank bag.

The subject fled the area on foot. Officers believe he got into a green Nissan Sentra travelling on Chapman Hwy. toward Knox County.
