Free Classes offered during Mountain Prepper Expo in Sevierville

You can learn about preparedness, survival, self-defense and self-sufficiency at the upcoming Mountain Prepper Expo in Sevierville.

The 2nd Annual Mountain Prepper Expo will be held at May 16-17, 2015 at the Sevierville Convention Center. One of the largest emergency preparedness events in the country, the event will feature a wide range of exhibitors and offer free classes.

Franklin, N.C. based Mountain Expos, LLC is organizing the event and has partnered with Prime Medical Training, of Knoxville, Tenn., to offer free CPR training classes. Four separate 1-hour CPR classes will be held during the weekend. Large crowds are expected at the show and space is limited to 90 people per classroom, so organizers recommend those interested in taking the CPR class arrive early and sign up at the Prime Medical Training Booth – #117.

In addition to the CPR class, people attending the Mountain Prepper Expo can choose from more than 40 hours of free classes from 22 different speakers. See the Mountain Prepper Schedule to plan your days. Topics include: gardening and seed saving; homeopathy, colloidal minerals and other natural health; solar and wind generating systems; essential oils; defending your home; wilderness and urban survival in the event of a major, civil unrest or grid down style catastrophe; and survival medicine.

Attendees can also check out the latest prepper equipment and supplies from exhibitors, such as: emergency water treatment; medical supplies; off grid and homesteading equipment; tactical gear; sustainable food production and storage; personal protection; aquaponics; and minuteman stoves. Scott Moore “The Bow Man” will have archery demonstrations and a shooting booth at the event with Prepper bow kits available.
