Sevierville Summer Adventure Camp Kids Visit Fire Department

The Sevierville Fire Department was pleased to welcome the kids from the Sevierville Summer Adventure Camp to the main fire station earlier this week.

Firefighters gave campers a tour of the fire station, fire trucks and equipment before putting the kids to work. Participants donned firefighting equipment, operated hoses and rode in fire trucks.

Sevierville Summer Adventure Camp Kids Visit Fire Department

The Sevierville Summer Adventure Camp is a seven-week program operated by the Parks and Recreation Department and is comprised of children in first through seventh grades. The camp takes numerous field trips to locations including the Titanic in Pigeon Forge, Ober Gatlinburg, Smokies Baseball, Lazerport, City Park Pool, Metcalf Bottoms in the national park, and many more.
