Pigeon Forge Hospitality Association Honors City Police & Fire Fighters

The Pigeon Forge Hospitality Association Sept. 10, 2015 Meeting and Luncheon will feature Tennessee Hospitality and Tourism Association CEO Greg Adkins and a tribute & presentation of plaques to the Pigeon Forge Police and Fire Departments. Kevin Wilson will sing the National Anthem and 13-year-old violinist Tristan LeLonde will perform.

“This is a chance for the hospitality and tourism community to personally say thank you to the Pigeon Forge Police and Fire Departments for their tireless work and to call attention to the National Day of Service and Remembrance designated for September 11, 2015,” said Betsy Burgin, executive coordinator of Pigeon Forge Hospitality Association.

The meeting and luncheon will be held at the Main Stay Suites Conference Center on Pine Mountain Road in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. Networking begins at 11 a.m. with the luncheon meeting to follow at 11:30 a.m. Registration is online at www.pfha-sept10.eventbrite.com registration ends Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 9 a.m.

In 2009, Congress designated September 11th as an annual National Day of Service and Remembrance, calling upon all people in the United States to observe it with personal reflection, by attending memorial services, performing good deeds and volunteering for community service or charitable activities.
