Sevierville Police Search for E-Z Stop Robbers

Two men allegedly robbed the E-Z Stop store on Dolly Parton Parkway in Sevierville early this morning.

Officers from the Sevierville Police Department responded to a 1:51 a.m. alarm call on Friday, Nov. 13, 2015 at the E-Z Stop, 851 Dolly Parton Parkway in Sevierville.

According to SPD Officer Edward Diggs, an E-Z Stop employee told officers that two young, thin, white men entered the convenience store and demanded money. One man wore a black beanie that covered his face and brandished a 5-inch-long knife. The other suspect wore a red bandana pulled up over his nose.

The employee complied and the two men left the store, fleeing in a dark colored vehicle. No one was injured during the robbery. The amount of money taken was not disclosed.

UPDATE Monday, Nov. 16, 2015: The Sevierville Police Department has released the following photos taken from the E-Z Stop surveillance cameras. Police believe these two suspects entered the store earlier in evening and then returned later to commit the robbery.Sevierville Robbery Suspects

Sevierville police are asking anyone with information pertaining to the identity of either suspect in the E-Z Stop robbery to call SPD Detective Lieutenant Sam Hinson at 865-868-1751.

All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
