Sevierville Commons Association Holding Open House for Realtors & Investors

The Sevierville Commons Association will hold a Holiday Open House for realtors and investors on Dec. 9, 2015 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Those interested in touring available properties in downtown Sevierville should meet at Courthouse Donuts, located at 160 Court Avenue in Sevierville, at 11 a.m. for a complimentary sampling of foods from downtown businesses prior to the tour.

“This holiday open house event will be a great opportunity for realtors, investors and entrepreneurs to learn more about the revitalization program taking place in downtown Sevierville and help spark their imaginations by touring the spaces that are available,” says Austin Williams, chairman of the Sevierville Commons Association Economic Vitality Committee. “There are ample opportunities for investment in downtown Sevierville and now is a great time to get involved.”

Several businesses are currently in the process of relocating to downtown Sevierville, while others, such as Healthy Balance Meals, are in the process of expanding their downtown Sevierville footprint. They aren’t the only ones to see value in a historic downtown Sevierville location. Courthouse Donuts proprietor Jennifer Dyer chose downtown Sevierville when opening her design-your-own donut shop restaurant because it felt like home. “In this vibrant tourist market, downtown Sevierville still appeals to the many locals who live here year-round. We wanted to be part of the downtown rebirth and are very appreciative of the support the city of Sevierville planners and support staffs gave us,” Dyer says.

Downtown Sevierville has recently been selected to join the Tennessee Main Street program and is actively growing through business development and events.
