Sevier County Street Crimes Unit makes Narcotics Arrests

The Street Crimes Unit raided a Sevier County home on Thursday morning where narcotics were allegedly being sold.

According to Sevier County Sheriff Ron Seals, officers executed a search warrant at a home located at 318 McMahan Avenue in Sevierville on Jan. 7, 2016 after an operation in which undercover agents purchased drugs there.

Three people living at the home were arrested. 41-year-old Fredrick G. Reed Jr. was charged with possession of schedule II narcotics for resale and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon. Florence Addie Reed, 50, and Tisha J. Henry, 38, were charged with possession of schedule II narcotics for resale.

Sevierville Police Department and Pigeon Forge Police Department Special Operations Teams assisted with the execution of the search warrant. The Street Crimes Unit is composed of officers from all Sevier County law enforcement agencies and primarily focuses on the investigation of the sale and distribution of narcotics in the county.

All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
