Kodak Hotel Clerk Robbed at Knifepoint

Police are searching for a suspect who reportedly used a knife to rob the clerk of a Kodak hotel on Monday.

According to the Sevierville Police Department, a man robbed the Comfort Inn and Suites at 161 W. Dumplin Valley Road in Kodak, Tenn. at about 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 1, 2016.

He took an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register and fled the scene, perhaps in a red or maroon 2000’s model Chevrolet Malibu Maxx. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’6″ tall, dressed in black clothes, black baseball cap and gloves.

No one was injured during the robbery.
