Reserve Your Spot for the Spring 2016 Sevierville 10-Mile Yard Sale

The weather is getting warmer and it’s time to clean out your garage and reserve your vendor space at the Sevierville 10-Mile Yard Sale.

With the spring sale scheduled for Saturday, April 16, 2016, vendor spaces are already selling fast for the Sevierville 10-Mile Yard Sale in Sevierville. Many vendors charge $20 per space and use the event as a fundraiser for their favorite local charity or cause.

The Sevierville 10-Mile Yard Sale will run one day only, April 16, 2016 from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. along US-411 (Dolly Parton Parkway / Newport Highway) in Sevierville, starting at the Sevier Rescue Squad building and heading towards Newport, Tenn.

Vendor booths can be found at homes and businesses along the route, as well as in nearby neighborhoods, but large groups of vendors set up at Sevier County High School, Walgreens and Foothills Furniture. The businesses Paradise Salon, Chambers Market, Chip’s Antiques, Real Deal Warehouse, Groceries & More and Sammy’s Auto Parts may also have vendor spaces for rent. Call individual businesses for space availability.

The DECA Club rents vendor space in the Sevier County High School parking lot as a fundraiser for the club. Call (865) 548-7223 to reserve a space there.

For the first time, the King Family Library will be renting vendor spaces in its parking lot. Cost is $20 per parking space. If needed, a limited number of tables are also available for rent at $10. All proceeds will benefit the SCPLS Friends of Libraries (King Family, Kodak and Seymour). A non-refundable, advance payment is required to reserve a space and tables. The deadline to reserve a space is April 11. Call Marissa, Hope or Rhonda at (865) 453-3532 for information. The King Family Library is located just two blocks off US-411, the main yard sale route, at 408 High Street in Sevierville.

The Sevierville 10-Mile Yard Sale is usually held twice per year, in the spring and fall.

If you are planning to shop the sale, please drive carefully. There is a lot of stop and go traffic as motorists pull in and out of yard sales and park along the shoulder. Be aware of people darting across the road to get from one sale to another.

Visitors coming from out of town for the yard sale should book their hotel room or rental cabin as soon as possible because that weekend is the Spring Grand Rod Run at LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge and thousands of car enthusiasts will be here for the event.

  1. It’s a shame this is being held on Bristol race weekend. I would love to come but will be at the race track all weekend. Maybe next year it won’t interfere.
