Tourism and Hospitality Trade Show Planned in Sevierville

The Sevier County Hospitality Alliance (SCHA) will host the largest and most attended tourism and hospitality trade show in Tennessee on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at the Sevierville Convention Center from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

The 2016 show, presented by S&D Coffee & Tea, Sevierville Convention Center and Ovations Food Service will be at the Sevierville Convention Center, which will allow for additional vendor booth expansion as the show has continually grown over the past 15 years. SCHA has added over 15 educational sessions on topics such as housekeeping and maintenance procedures, healthcare and alcoholic beverage commission compliance, Tennessee Green Environmental Program, the new Tennessee Health/Food Code requirements and much more.

“This will be our 15th Annual Hospitality Trade Show in Sevier County and we’re expecting this year’s show to be the most attended yet based on the initial response,” said SCHA Trade Show Chair Christie Connatser. “We’ve had tremendous early response from vendors and tourism partners wanting to display and promote their products and services at the show.

The SCHA Hospitality Trade Show is free for attendees and open to all hospitality and tourism related businesses throughout Sevier County and surrounding areas. The show is a combined effort of the Gatlinburg Hospitality Association, Pigeon Forge Hospitality Association, Sevierville Hospitality Association, Smoky Mountain Vacation Lodging Association and Smoky Mountain Wedding Association. These neighboring associations work cooperatively within the unified partnership of the Sevier County Hospitality Alliance to accomplish the annual hospitality trade show.

“We want to encourage all hospitality and tourism business owners, managers, supervisors and staff to attend the April 6, 2016 show as it will be a vast “one stop shopping” venue as well as an opportunity to learn about hospitality products and services for your business,” said Connatser. “We expect over 175 vendors and just under 1000 attendees at the show and we welcome anyone with an interest to stop by and experience this worthwhile event.”

Vendor registration and booth space is available through Thursday, March 31 but space is limited.
