Two Visitors Found Dead at Gatlinburg Rental Cabin

Police say a man and a woman were found dead in a hot tub at their Gatlinburg rental cabin on Saturday.

According to Gatlinburg Police Chief Randall Brackins, officers responded to 820 Resort Way, a rental cabin in the Gatlinburg Falls Resort, just before 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2016 where they found a man and woman deceased in the hot tub.

The pair has been identified as 63-year-old Jon Levin of Oak Ridge, Tenn. and Myra Smith-Findell, 62, of Corbin, Ky.

Police say they don’t suspect foul play, but an autopsy is being performed to determine the cause of death and those results will not be available for at least thirty days.

Services for Smith-Findell are scheduled for April 14, 2016 at Croley Funeral Home in Williamsburg, Ky.
