Sevierville Latest City to Join Pickleball Craze

The City of Sevierville Department of Parks and Recreation has scheduled a meeting to discuss one of the fastest growing sports in the country: PICKLEBALL.

Pickleball is a paddle sport created for all ages. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn. It may be played indoors or outdoors and combines tennis, badminton, and Ping-Pong.

The meeting will take place 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at the main concession building next to the tennis courts at Sevierville City Park on Park Road. Possible scheduling of tennis courts for recreational play will be discussed as well as other items of interest.
