3D Plaster Mural to be Unveiled at Sevierville Civic Center

3D Plaster Mural to be Unveiled at Sevierville Civic Center

The City of Sevierville Department of Parks and Recreation announces a ceremony to unveil an original 3D plaster mural by local artist Donald McCorkle.

McCorkle, a Louisiana native, currently resides in Kodak, Tenn. He specializes in portraits, sculptures, murals, Trompe L’Oeil, Faux finishing, wood graining, marbleizing, and gold and metal leafing. He has donated his time and talent to paint a large mural inside the Sevierville Civic Center in the Municipal Complex, 200 Gary R Wade Blvd., that will be unveiled Tuesday, July 19, 2016 immediately following the Chamber of Commerce Coffee Talk meeting. The meeting begins at 8:30 a.m. (breakfast begins at 8 a.m.) and meetings typically last about forty-five minutes.
