Free Picnic to Be Held for Gulf War Veterans

Free Picnic to be held for Gulf War Veterans and Families

A local chapter of the Vietnam Veterans of America is hosting a free BBQ and picnic for Gulf War Veterans and their families.

The Vietnam Veterans of America, Bill Robinson Chapter 1078, invite Gulf War Veterans, those who served active duty from 1990 through the present, to bring their families to a Welcome Home BBQ and Picnic scheduled 10 a.m.–2 p.m. on Aug. 6, 2016 at The Cove at Concord Park, 11808 Northshore Dr. in Knoxville, Tenn. The chapter will provide free food and beverages. Guests should bring their lawn chairs or blanket. No alcohol is allowed in the park.
