Pigeon Forge Annual Veterans Homecoming Parade Set for Saturday

The City of Pigeon Forge is honoring veterans on Saturday by hosting the annual Veterans Homecoming Parade.

People will line the streets along the Veterans Homecoming Parade route on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016 to offer a heartfelt salute to America’s military veterans, especially Vietnam veterans in commemoration of the war’s 50th anniversary.

“The City of Pigeon Forge has a long history of honoring our nation’s many brave veterans and that will continue on into the future,” says Butch Helton, special events manager for the City of Pigeon Forge.

The Veterans Homecoming Parade will promptly roll out onto Parkway at 9 a.m. and proceed northbound in the northbound lane from Methodist Street (Food City) to Stoplight #5 (Jake Thomas Road).
