Sevierville City Park Playground Closing for Renovations

Mt. Ton of Fun Playground at City Park is closing in January as work begins on a new inclusive playground.

The City of Sevierville Department of Parks and Recreation announced that Mt. Ton of Fun Playground would close Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017 and remain closed until until the inclusive playground is completed. The city partnered with Project Sevier to build the new playground.

“The Project Sevier team is very excited for the children and families of Sevierville for the renovations of the Sevierville City Park,” said Lisa Bremer, president of Project Sevier. “We are ecstatic to know that children of all ability levels will be able to enjoy the outdoors together.”

While Mt. Ton of Fun is closed, please consider visiting the following playgrounds:

  • Community Center (rear) at the Municipal Complex
  • J.B. Waters Park in Love Addition
  • McMahan Addition Park at the corner of McMahan Avenue and Railroad Street
  • Northview Optimist Park on West Dumplin Valley Road
