Chipotle Hosts Fundraiser for Friends of the Smokies Wildfire Relief

All Chipotle Mexican Grill locations in Knoxville, Oak Ridge, and Sevierville will host a fundraiser for wildfire relief efforts benefiting Friends of the Smokies on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will help meet the greatest needs of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, beginning first with emergency relief efforts from the recent devastating wildfires.

“The outpouring of support from our community has been tremendous since the fires in late November,” said Brent McDaniel, director of marketing at Friends of the Smokies. “We are thankful for the local Chipotle stores for reaching out to set this up and helping to raise money for the park’s recovery.”

The public is invited to come to any of the Knoxville-area Chipotle locations listed below on Tuesday. Tell the cashier you are there for the wildfire fundraiser, or show the flyer below or the Facebook event page on your smartphone, and 50% of the sales will be donated to Friends of the Smokies.
