Workshops will be offered and more than sixty exhibitors will be on hand at The Log & Timber Home Show in Sevierville this month.
Exhibitors at the show will include log and timber frame homebuilders and architects; manufacturers of building supplies, furniture and décor; and those specializing in log home maintenance and restoration products. They will be on hand to assist visitors with construction and financing questions, floor plan ideas, and showcase one-of-a-kind log and rustic furniture. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own home plans and ideas to be reviewed by industry experts.
The Log & Timber Home Show will run 11 a.m.—7 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017 and 10 a.m.—6 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Sevierville Convention Center, 202 Gists Creek Road in Sevierville. Admission is $15 per person online or $20 per person at the door. Children under 18 are admitted free. Admission is valid both days.
The show is offering free admission to those whose homes were destroyed or damaged by the wildfires, allowing those undergoing the rebuilding process the opportunity to speak with the industry’s top log home and timber frame companies and builders. In order to qualify for free show admission, they are asked to email [email protected] or call 931-596-2992.
“When you think of log home destinations in Tennessee, Gatlinburg automatically comes to mind. When our industry heard about these devastating wildfires last fall, we knew there was going to be a real need in the area to rebuild. Coming to Gatlinburg was the best way we knew how to help. For log & timber frame homeowners, their home is not just a roof over their heads, it’s a dream that lives and breathes. One developed over numerous years of planning. The goal at our shows has always been to help turn your dream into a plan that becomes reality and this year we are hoping to help restore dreams to the Gatlinburg community,” says Eric Johnson, manager of The Log and Timber Home Show.
