Sevierville Commons Arts Council Sponsors Downtown Sevierville Art Exhibit

Art is happening in downtown Sevierville. Artist David Freeman will exhibit his paintings at Courthouse Donuts/Dyers Downtown through June 30, 2017. A reception for the artist will take place Thursday, June 22 from 5:30–8 p.m. and is free to the public. This exhibition is part of an on-going series sponsored by the Sevierville Commons Arts Council and Sevierville Commons Association.

Born and raised in East Tennessee, David Freeman finds “a new view around every corner.” Training as a commercial artist allowed him to master his skills as a painter and put him on a path to become a freelance artist as well as a commissioned portrait artist. A resort in Gatlinburg is home to a 200 foot mural he created. David Freeman studied at East Tennessee State University. He creates works in oil, acrylic and watercolor, happily working at his studio in Newport, on location, and at festivals.
