Gatlinburg Police Department Offering Summer Kids’ Police Camp

Registration is open for the Gatlinburg Police Department Kids’ Police Camp. The action-packed week includes bike and firearms safety, self-defense, team building, SWAT Team and K-9 Officer presentations, white water rafting, swimming, cookouts and more.

The Kids’ Police Camp runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, July 24 – 28, 2017 at the American Legion, 1230 E Parkway. Gatlinburg Community Police Programs and the department’s community outreach program are sponsoring the kids’ camp, which is free and open to children ages 9 to 13 years of age.
