Sevierville Completes Connector for Middle Creek Greenway

Middle Creek Greenway is now open! The new one-mile section connects existing greenways on Veterans Boulevard and Eastgate Road, providing a vital link that allows users to go from downtown Sevierville all the way into Pigeon Forge. Middle Creek Greenway starts on Eastgate Road and ends at Sunrise Circle on Veterans Boulevard.

The City would like to thank several property owners for their cooperation by providing easements for the project: New Salem Church, Ron and Betty Ogle, and Emily Kile.

“Without their willingness to give easements on their property, this greenway section would have never been completed,” said Bob Parker, Sevierville Parks and Recreation Director. The project general contractor was Charles Blalock & Sons and the design was by Lose and Associates.

With the opening of Middle Creek Greenway, Sevierville now has over ten miles of greenways with additional greenways both funded and planned. For additional information on the City’s greenway system, visit seviervilletn.org.
