Raid of Sevierville Home Yields Illegal Drugs and Cash

Local law enforcement officers raided a Sevierville residence Thursday morning, finding cash, drugs and paraphernalia they say indicate drugs were being sold from the home.

Sevier County Sheriff Ron Seals said that a search warrant was obtained for a residence located at 1196 Allensville Road in Sevierville after an undercover operation by the Sevier County Street Crimes Unit.

Members of the Sevier County Sheriffs Special Operations Team, Sevierville Police Department Swat Team and detectives from the Street Crimes Unit executed that search warrant during a raid at about 4 a.m. on July, 13, 2017 and found methamphetamine, marijuana, cash and other drug paraphernalia that indicated drugs were being sold from the home.

Officers arrested 43-year-old Anna V. Shafer, who lives at the home, and charged her with Possession of Schedule II (meth) for Resale and Possession of Schedule VI (marijuana). Officers are also seeking a male subject that lives at the residence on outstanding warrants related to the investigation. The investigation in ongoing and more charges are pending.

All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
