Spooktacular Block Party to be held in Downtown Sevierville on Halloween

The Sevier County Sheriff’s Office will host a free, family-friendly Halloween event in Downtown Sevierville.

This year’s Spooktacular Block Party will be held 6–10 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017 in Downtown Sevierville at the Main Jail Facility and the downtown vicinity.

The Sevier County Sheriff’s Office offers this free Spooktacular Block Party so Sevier County residents and their entire families have a safe environment for the youth to spend their Halloween night. Children will have the opportunity to trick or treat with local fire, police, EMS, and other government agencies within Sevier County.

After seeing last year’s huge turnout and overwhelming support from the citizens of Sevier County, Sheriff Ron Seals would like to invite ALL local agencies to participate in this year’s event. This event was extremely successful last Halloween with well over 1000 people attending and will be a great opportunity for local agencies to connect with the citizens of Sevier County.

If you have any questions, you may contact the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office of Community Relations at 865-774-3958.

Also in Downtown Sevierville, Evergreen Church will hold a Trunk or Treat event at the Sevierville Commons near the gazebo from 5:30–8:30 p.m. The Sevierville Commons Art Council has a free Make It and Take It art workshop for kids 6–8 p.m. at 129 Bruce Street.
