Anakeesta Parkway Plaza to be Transformed into Santa’s Village

It may be the busiest time of the year for Santa, but that isn’t stopping him from spending some time in his favorite place, Gatlinburg!

The Gatlinburg Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Gatlinburg Chamber of Commerce and Anakeesta have teamed up to bring the real Santa (of Santa’s Claus-et) to Downtown Gatlinburg this holiday season. The Anakeesta Parkway Plaza will be transformed into Santa’s Village with a host of holiday festivities scheduled to take place including:

  • Meet and have your photo taken with Santa. (Professional photos will be available for purchase but not required.)
  • Meet Santa’s elves who will be there to entertain and hand out peppermint sticks.
  • Enjoy holiday music from Tunes & Tales.
  • Warm up with a hot doughnut, holiday cookies, hot chocolate or hot apple cider which will be available to purchase.

6:30–9 p.m. on:
November 24, 25
December 2, 8, 9, 15, 16

Location:
Anakeesta Parkway Plaza, located at 576 Parkway (across the street from Ripley’s Aquarium). The plaza is free and open to the public.

A portion of the proceeds will go directly to Wears Valley Ranch, Christian Children’s Home and School. This local organization offers several programs to foster spiritual, emotional, intellectual, social and physical development of children in need of a stronger family support system.
