Dollywood Gives Sevier County Days Proceeds to Food Ministry

Dollywood officials presented a donation check to Sevier County Food Ministries this month.

The check for $44,208.75 was presented during the organization’s annual volunteer luncheon. The funds were raised through the amusement park’s Sevier County Days promotion held during Smoky Mountain Christmas. Total giving since 1998 from Dollywood to the Sevier County Food Ministries is now $1,025,232.

Sevier County Food Ministries is an interfaith ministry that operates a food pantry serving more than 1,500 families in need each week. The organization is located at 890 Old Knoxville Highway in Sevierville.
