Family Travel with Colleen Kelly Filming Episode in Sevierville

Popular National Public Television series “Family Travel with Colleen Kelly” will be filming in Sevierville on Sept. 8-10, 2016. The widely-watched family travel show will feature Sevierville during its upcoming fourth season.

“We’ve been looking forward to this trip for a while now and couldn’t be more excited to experience all that Sevierville has to offer,” said show host Colleen Kelly. “From the beautiful scenery of the Smoky Mountains to all of the fun things to do and places to eat, we look forward to giving our viewers a behind-the-scenes look at this popular family destination.”

Episodes of “Family Travel with Colleen Kelly” feature destinations in the U.S. and abroad that cater to families, with Kelly showing viewers how to make memories that last a lifetime. She provides an in-depth tour of each locale, taking advantage of the area’s outdoor adventure, natural beauty, history, culture, dining, shopping and fun for all ages.

The show also shares expert travel tips and insights to help families take the hassle out of planning their vacations. Kelly often travels with her husband and two young daughters, who appear in the show.

Now in its fourth season, “Family Travel with Colleen Kelly” continues to resonate with viewers who are looking for programming that inspires them to get out and explore with their families. The show now airs in every major U.S. market in addition to recently being picked up for international distribution.

Previous featured destinations include Ireland, Hawaii, Boston, Chicago, Switzerland, New Orleans and Los Angeles, among many others.

The episode featuring Sevierville is scheduled to air in spring of 2017.
