Be sure to bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets as the 24th Annual Patriot Festival has a full day of entertainment lined up, including a performance by Lonestar before a finale of spectacular fireworks.
Lonestar has sold more than 10 million albums and is perhaps best known for the hits “Amazed” and “I’m Already There”.

The band recently reunited with original lead singer Richie McDonald, and is celebrating their 20th anniversary by embarking on a massive North American tour with over 90 show dates.
The fun starts at noon on Friday, July 4 when the Kids’ Karnival opens. Musical acts take the stage at 1:30 p.m. and will play into the evening, including Biblical Times Theater artists, Shelby Huskey Band, The Pigeon Forge Community Chorus, Tim Kellar Band, Adkins & Loudermilk, and Sons of Sailors. Lonestar is scheduled to play at 8:30 p.m.
Vendors will sell a variety of food and beverages, with a portion of the proceeds to benefit local charities.
Fireworks start at 9:45 p.m. and will be synchronized to music provided by FM 107.7 WIVK, a local country music radio station.
Admission to the Patriot Festival is free. Parking is also free. While handicapped parking is available at Patriot Park, all others should park at the municipal parking lot on Teaster Lane and ride the free trolley shuttles running between the lot and Patriot Park on Old Mill Ave.
