Public Tours, Job Fairs Held During Sevier County Manufacturing Week

The Sevier County Economic Development Council, along with their manufacturing partners, is pleased to host Manufacturing Week running March 9-13, 2020. This week will showcase the outstanding manufacturers located in Sevier County, along with all of the great career opportunities that are available.

“Our manufacturing industry in Sevier County is booming. Many of our businesses have expanded both their buildings and their employment over the past year. Many of these manufacturers have open positions with great starting pay and outstanding benefits,” stated Allen Newton, executive director of the Sevier County Economic Development Council.

KaTom Restaurant Supply just broke ground on a 58,000 sq. ft. expansion and plans to add 100 new jobs.

The citizens of Sevier County have an opportunity to tour some of these companies and see exactly what they do. In addition, many of the businesses will be hosting on-site job fairs or have jobs listed on Seviercountyjobs.org.
