Sevierville Police Search for Armed Robbery Suspect

Sevierville police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a convenience store at gunpoint on Thursday night.

Sevierville police officers responded to an armed robbery of Shell Fastop, located at 1855 Winfield Dunn Parkway (Highway 66) in Sevierville, reported just after 10 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2019.

“A store employee stated that a man entered the store brandishing a black handgun and demanded money from the cash register,” according to SPD Detective Preston Parrish. “The suspect was described as a white male wearing a black hoodie, black pants, a black and red baseball style hat, and a red bandana over his face.”

The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money in a silver passenger vehicle.

The robbery remains under investigation and no additional details are available at this time. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Detective Parrish at 865-868-1750.

All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
